Abdul Rashid’s story reminds us that traditional crafts are essential in our modern world. By preserving these crafts, we can keep alive the traditions and cultural heritage of our communities. Abdul Rashid, a 60-year-old man, is the last remaining traditional soap maker in Kashmir. Here we can see that Mr. Abdul Rashid chosen the path to preserving the heritage of Kashmir, how can we help in preserving our culture or heritage...?

Learn about your culture: The first step in preserving your culture or heritage is to learn as much as you can about it. Read books, visit museums, talk to elders, and attend cultural events to gain a deeper understanding of your cultural heritage.
