Netflix has announced the second season of their hit show, "Heeramandi," directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Just a month after its premiere, the big-budget period drama series received an order for a second season. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, and Sharmin Segal, the first season of the show, set before the Partition, focused on powerful courtesans during India's freedom struggle. Bhansali expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm blessed by the love and appreciation for 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. I'm happy to announce that we'll be back with season 2." Monika Shergill, Netflix India's Vice-President of Content, praised the series, adding, "Watching audiences fall in love with this series has been hugely energizing." To celebrate, Netflix India shared a video of a flash mob featuring 100 dancers in anarkalis and ghungroos at Mumbai's Carter Road. What can fans expect from the highly anticipated second season?
