Milk has long been hailed as a superfood for children, brimming with calcium, protein, and essential vitamins vital for their developing bodies and brains. However, as we enter adulthood, experts argue that the high levels of fat in milk can potentially pose risks such as heart disease, cholesterol imbalances, and other chronic ailments. According to the National Library of Medicine, a single glass of milk contains 5g of saturated fats, accounting for 20% of the daily recommended intake. Saturated fatty acids are widely known to contribute to cardiovascular diseases and strokes by potentially skewing the LDL to HDL cholesterol ratio. So, is fat the true culprit behind these concerns?
